Online Private Lessons

Our lifestyles have drastically changed due to the COVID-19 crisis, but this should not stop us from pursuing our dreams of learning the piano! The online lessons are specifically tailored to meet the students' musical goals.

I offer one-on-one piano lessons using a variety of video chat services (Zoom/FaceTime/Skype) to all levels of students. This is also a great option for those who cannot attend in-person lessons for whatever reason.

HOW TO SET UP

You do not need fancy equipment! There are different ways to set up for an online lesson.

Students usually set up in two different ways:

1) Putting your electronic device on the music stand

2) Putting your device at the end of the keyboard

The Experience

Online lessons are very much the same as in-person lessons. The student plays their piece, and I comment on what parts went well and what we need to improve on. Students usually need to keep a pencil nearby to mark notes on the music on what they should fix. We will also measure numbers on the music so we both can keep track of where we are in the music.
